Charlene Griffin-Johnson serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Commissioner of the Oakland Section, bringing 19 years of dedicated service to the Oakland Unified School District. Throughout her career, she has held multiple roles, including Business Manager and Administrative Assistant, consistently demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and care for those around her.

Known as the glue that holds the office together, Charlene is a constant source of support and positivity, greeting everyone with a warm smile and a helpful spirit. Her role is essential to the Oakland Section, as she provides vital support to OAL and BACSAC Athletic Directors, office staff, and coaches.
